In Memory Of Miles
Taken from Christina's Blog
"In the digital scrapbooking world, we get a rare opportunity to meet other ladies that share our passion for creativity and preserving our memories while we do what we love. These bonds that we form are often forged by the sharing of these memories as we share the pages that we make; being able to read each other's journaling and share in the stories quickly bypasses some of the "formality" of a regular face to face relationship. We get to chat with these ladies whose stories we know, and they become part of our daily lives.
When you serve on a Creative Team or make your home in a forum, these relationships are even stronger. One of the relationships that I have had the opportunity to make is with Kellie. She is a beautiful wife and mom, with a strong faith, and a very talented artist. Kellie had shared with me that her beautiful son, Miles, had passed on to be with Jesus two years ago today (April 22 nd) with a rare childhood condition. Miles' twin brother, Mason, and his baby sister, Maddy are blessed to receive Kellie and her husband's affection and love, but Miles is missed.
Several of Kellie's friends got together and decided to make a tribute to Miles in honor of Kellie's example and friendship to us. This kit is free of charge; we just ask that you abide by the terms of service within, pay it forward by sharing something with someone YOU love and care about and post a comment here. All comments are wanted to give to Kellie to save with Miles memories. We wanted to make a way for all of us to continue to preserve those precious memories - joyful and painful - for years to come, and in our own way say how much that we love and appreciate Kellie's presence in our "digi" lives.
Kellie, we do admire and love you, and pray that each day that you wait to be with Miles again is joyful with memories of his sweetness. God bless you and your family today and in the days to come!
Chere Edwards has made this wonderful blinkie for you to sport in memory of Miles. You can right click on it at the TOP of my blog and save it to your computer. Then you can upload and use!
Thanks again and be sure to come back tomorrow for more FREE goodies and Gift Cards in memory of Miles!!!"

How to Print Digital Embellishments
If you don't purchase "Printables" you may have to follow these steps to print. Anything hybrid that I put on this blog is all ready to print on any standard printer. But here are some simple instructions, you may have to alter them depending on the program you use to print. I use Photoshop to make a sheet of printables. I'm finding ACDSee is easy to use if I need one thing or two.
How to Print Digital Files
As soon as you download your file you will want to unzip it.
Double click on the file to unzip.
Make sure to place the contents in a folder that you can easily find. For Example, in your Documents folder create a folder called Scrapbooking.
Open up your scrapbooking program. Whatever you are choosing to use.
Go to File>New
Make this document letter sized so it can easily be printed.
Go to File>Open
Find the folder you saved your new files in.
Select an image that you would like to print...double click.
Your image should now be in your work space.
Move this image to make it overlap your letter sized document.
Drag the image onto the letter sized document.
If the image is larger than you want resize.
(If doing this in Photoshop, Ctrl-T, hold down shift while moving the handles, hit ENTER when finished)
Make sure you allow enough of a border, so when you print nothing gets cut off.
File>Print Preview
Here you can see if anything is going to get cut off and to adjust the size to print so it prints correctly.
If you able to print borderless, choose this option.
From there you can now print your file.

I'm going to try swapping ATCs again. The first swap I participated in I swapped 20 and never received my cards :( Some were nice enough to send them on their own, which was cool. Anyways, the theme of this swap at 2CC is Chinese.

Relaxing
I'm sure like most of you scrappers, when you have a bad day you scrap to relax, or maybe that's just me ;) You know one of those days that you just feel like a terrible parent and nothing can go right, yep I had one of those today. Good thing I have one of the sweetest five year olds in the WORLD! So I decided to sit down and play with a project I got in the mail the other day. I took a chance and ordered from a kit club new to me. I ordered the 2Croppincousinz Project 2 Scrapbook Idea Book. I have to say that's the EASIEST project I've ever done! A lot of time was definitley put into this kit! Every step is explained step by step, so for those of you that have never altered anything and want to try, order one of these project kits! I followed the directions step-by-step on mine except for the back, I'm not a huge card maker and I didn't want to waste paper :D

Sitting in the Hallway is sooo much fun!
Kait8.com
I was outside last night picking up toys from the yard, I noticed it was a bit odd out. Being from Nebraska I think we have a sixth sense about weather sometimes! I went inside to turn on the weather channel when DH called and asked if I heard the sirens, well they weren't going off on the other side of town yet. So we stayed in the hallway for a good hour last night. It was 80 degrees yesterday and following the storms was a freeze warning! Crazy! We did have some damage from the tornado not far from us and of course DH stood outside and watched it!
