Free Gift Card...Card!

Gift cards have become extremely popular over the years.  But how do you give them to someone?  Do you just hand them over, buy a card to throw them in?  Well, here’s an easy and inexpensive way for you to customize your gift to make it even more special.
This can be done for any occasion in our builder. I chose a 5”x7” flat card for this project. The one I used is actually a free template. Open your card in the builder and design how you wish. Club members can use their Print From Home feature to have a high resolution .jpg sent to your email.  I chose to print just the front of mine at home to save time.  Once printed, you can add buttons, ribbons, glitter, whatever you may have on hand.  I used Helmar 450 glue to add my emebelishments. I then cut a slit for my card and then backed the entire card on a piece of cardstock.  You can then put into an envelope or add a string to hang on the tree. When that special someone comes over, have them grab a gift card of their choosing from your tree!  Handmade personalized cards are simple using MiDesign@Michaels™!

I really have been searching for awhile for a store that's not only friendly, full of great designs, and is active in their community.  I think I've found that at Scrap Take Out!  There are so many challenges, great ideas in the shoppe including a "Build Your Own Takeout" every month.  Where the designers use the same color palette to build a collab of sorts, but you choose which pieces you want.  All my products here will be exclusive and sold by paper packs, embellishment packs etc, for more freedom for the customers.  I'm also going to start working on more CU product for designers as well.  New releases are every Thursday!  I hope you stop in and see what's going on!

Is everyone back to school?

We had our first full week of school this last week!  Both the boys are adjusting pretty well to their new teachers and friends!  I wanted to share a layout that I did this week in the MiDesign@Michaels builder using my MidTerm Papers and Embellishments!  Links have been sent out to those that offered suggestions before I finished the kit.  Thanks for sending them to my email!  The kit is on sale this week for those that missed out before I put it in the store as well.  For those that use the MiDesign builder this will be available soon in there!  If you already have this kit you can upload it using the photos option and use it that way as well!  Also, new coupons are posted every week, don't miss out on the savings!  I would love to see your back to school layouts!

Back to School!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for my boys to head back to school!  This will be Peytan's last year in elementary school before he heads off to middle school and Christian will be a third grader!  School starts Wednesday here and we're ready!  I went ahead and put my MidTerm One and Midterm Two on sale.  I think they're great papers for those kids getting older and I'm thinking about doing some embellishments soon with them as well!  Whatcha think!  Those that comment about the embellishments will get them for free if you leave your email address for me to send them too!  I hope everyone has a safe school year and have fun shopping!
