Operation Scrapbook
Operation Scrapbook is a new nonprofit organization dedicated solely to supplying all the necessary items & services for foster children ,the terminally ill and the underprivileged to complete scrapbooks completely free!
Our first program, Fostered Memories, will focus on providing for foster children in the Kansas City, Mo area. We’ll be working alongside Children’s Services and the Salvation Army. Once we have a handle on our area we will begin to support the rest of the nation by region.
You can make a difference by donating any excess scrapbooking and stamping supplies (new or used), volunteering or making a monetary donation to Operation Scrapbook. We have an immediate need for the basic supplies i.e. scrapbooks in any size, adhesives, stickers, pens, cardstock & patterned paper. If you are local we will gladly come to pick up any donations you may have. If you are outside the area you can mail them to our office.
Please forward this information to anyone who might like to be involved!

Kodak Book of Fast and Easy SB Pages
Although I had to go out and BUY this book, still a bit bitter over unreturned emails, here it is! I did this layout for the Funk It Up Contest and although it didn't get me to the next round it did make it in a book :D
Meredith Fenwicks Wicked PP was used in the Pub
Sorry about the scan!
About scanning layouts for the book
Yes! I do think it would work! I know my scanner isn't the greatest so I wouldn't attempt it, but what a GREAT idea to share your work with your family! It can be difficult to do it traditionally, but I think it sounds like a great idea!
And for those hybrid gals, I'm working on some GREAT photo corners, hopefully I'll finish them up today :D If there's anything you guys have a hard time finding also let me know and I can either make it or tell you where to find it!

Print Your Digital Scrapbook!
I did!!! Actually, I just got my Shutterfly book in the mail! Shutterfly now offers a "Print your own Digital Scrapbook" option and YOU customize everything! I did an 8x8 book of 2006 happenings. I resized my 12x12 pages to 7.75x7.75 (don't worry about the sizing they offer guides for everything). I then made the cover, spine and back! The quality is also amazing! A hard back book with rich, glossy pages inside!
The process was super easy. I downloaded the templates they provide, resized my 12x12s to the template guides with is 7.75x7.75 and saved them as jpgs. You then upload them and start the process! I did get a little worried after I previewed the cover, BUT it does say that it shows it cropped but will NOT print that way and it didn't!!
I think every year for Christmas I'll do this for the grandparents, a book with a year in review and what could be better than a high quality book at a great price!
If you guys have tried this service leave me a message and let me know!!
Here's some pics of my book :D I used my With Love Papers, Meredith Fenwicks Love Doodles, Michelle Underwoods Buttons and Screws, Kelly Shults' Heart and Trish Jones' Kraft Stash Brackets!(Gosh I hope those credits are right)!
