Last Minute Things

A couple things I need to finish doing today before heading out to CHA. I need to straighten up the house a bit, put gas in my car, grab some cash and finish packing. Luckily Lori B, Nanci and Michelle of Scrapartist are letting me bum a ride from OC to my hotel :D Maybe I can bribe them into letting me sell at SA :D
I'm hopefully meeting up with Corina, the IOD gals and Dianne Saturday night, if there isn't much left to do for Dream Street. The booth should be all set up by the time I fly in if everything goes smoothly :D Memory Trends was another story on set up day...we worked our arses off!! Anyways, hope to see some of you scrappers in Anaheim!

Got a layout done

I'm trying to finish up the rest of my proposal and filling in the blanks, so I came up with this this morning :D

Sketch Update

Thank-you ALL so much that took the time to help me out with this project! I'm going to be sitting down tomorrow and looking over all the submissions to see what will be used in the proposal. I will more than likely not email those that I do use in the proposal, BUT if all goes well, then bookmark this blog and save those submissions for the book publication :D Ill update here, digishoptalk and 2Peas if all goes well! Cross your fingers for me and thanks again, I couldn't have got it done without those submissions ;)

A Call of Sorts

I'm trying to get a proposal done before CHA and I'm needing some layout/card help! If any of you girls can help me or know of a traditional/digital scrapper that can please pass along this info!

What I need from each sketch is a traditional, digital and a card layout. If anyone can help with anything I would appreciate it. I can't guarantee your work will make it into the proposal, but if I get the book deal it might make it into the book :D

Here's what I need if you decide to submit a layout/card:
-I need the layout to be full sized 300dpi, Ill resize :D
-Full Credits
-How you took the sketch and made it your own. IE..instead of using papers you used ribbons or instead of a photo you used a funky element :D
-A link to your gallery and the username you use there...along with your accomplishments.

A good end to a BAD week

Even have one of those weeks where you want to run away? Actually a lot of it is my fault, somehow I think I can do all these things I commit too, then realize I shouldn't have taken some projects on! BUT I got an exciting phone call from Cindy involving the new Scrapbook Dimensions Magazine! I've been asked to be on their advisory board! I was totally blown away that I came highly recommended! I really see this magazine taking off and I can't wait to get involved!
I'm also trying to finish up a big project before heading to Anaheim, hopefully I can get it done and ready for presentation! If it all goes well it will be very exciting! Also make sure to keep watching out for Dream Street. We're going to be expanding to other areas in the near future!!

CHA- Sneak Peek

Well, the sneak peeks somehow got released to the world ;) Dream Street is big on if it's not ready to be shipped you won't find it on the site. Which is totally awesome, I would have to order things then be told "Sorry, they aren't in stock ready to ship". So we should have paper in the warehouse by next week, and I sooo can't wait to get my hands on the new lines. We'll all be hard at work trying to get things ready for CHA, which is coming soon! Anyways here's a peek at my two new collections coming out! If you want to see what the others have done just go back and click on their pictures under "Design Team". Also, make sure you take a look at the locator list to see where you can purchase them, they're constantly updating that part of the site ;)

So..so..so

I haven't blogged in almost two months....I've been busy trying to get some products, layouts and paper commitments done. I have two new lines that will be out for CHA-Winter in Anaheim. One is a collab effort with my and the fab. Kelly Shults! I was just at acherryontop and saw that the sneak peeks are there!!! Not sure how that happened, they're not on the site yet even! HA!
