Covered Books using Spoonflower Prints

I have a bunch of 8x8 spoonflower prints that have been sitting here staring at me.  I've been searching for some fun ways to use them with no luck.  Until today while browsing...Pinterest of course!  I got these cute notebooks from the 1.00 spot in March from Michaels, so I decided to cover the outside of the notebooks with the fabric.  After doing the first one I thought, there has to be a better way.  Then I remembered Mark Montano in his book, The Big Ass Book of Crafts, showed how to build a book completely out of cardboard laying around.  So I used the same concept. 
Since the front of my books had patterns on them I used a thick cardstock to trace and cover with the fabric.  Then I used Helmar's 450 quick dry to put everything together.  Here's how I did the fabric books and a sample of a full book that I made out of cardboard and scrap paper I had laying around!

An Oldie but Goodie...Free 4th of July Printable

If you've been following me a long time you know that printables and hybrid is what I love.  This is something that I posted last year but wanted to bring to you guys again.  With new links, because 4shared is WAY to confusing for me :D  And I want you guys to be able to actually download something without jumping through hoops!
So here you go!  Share on pinterest with your crafty friends if you like!  This would be a great activity on the 4th of July for those kiddos (or adults)!
Open the PDF file by downloading onto your computer and double clicking on it
Print off as many as you need
I used Helmar Products to create dimension and the number "4" by using glitter
Have fun!  There's no right or wrong way to do this!

1.00 GAB June Products!

If you're not familiar with the GAB (Grab A Byte) Products at SBB you need to be!  Every month they give the designers a color palatte and the time to create whatever they wish!  For one week ALL the products are 1.00!  They then will go back to full price, so you have a week to grab what you want!  Here are my products for my June guest stint with them!  I hope you grab a couple!

Window 7 not wanting to make new folder fix

UGH!  Had a huge issue with this starting a couple days ago!  I wanted to put what worked out there in one place in case anyone else is having this issue!  Check out this thread here, the fix worked perfectly!

May Free Project Life Scrapbooking 365 Cards

April Free Project Life Cards Digital and Printable

Good morning everyone!  I hope everyone had a great Easter!  We were lucky enough to have my grandma and her sister, my great aunt come out again this year to celebrate with me and the boys.  We're so lucky the boys are able to get to know their great grandma and great great aunt!  I hope your weekend was great as well! 
I shared on my facebook page that this months cards will be themed with travel.  With spring break happening now or in the future, I wanted you to have some great travel themed cards to go along with your vacation.  I'm including the digital cards and a printable PDF for those that don't do digital scrapbooking.  If you are a home based business, you can use these in your projects for your clients in the printed form.  These cards are from my Travel Diary line that can be found here.

Pillow Box Printable Hybrid Card Project

At our school tomorrow it's Principal Appreciation Day.  So I made this cute little box for ours.  I did get a gift card for it but it's a little to big so I did have to turn the gift card vertical then tied it in there.  Here are the instructions using the MiDesign@Michaels™ builder:

• Print off the pillow box template and cut out (right click on the image and SAVE AS)

    • Log into the MiDesign@Michaels™ builder here (https://photocreations.michaels.com/)
    • Click on LETS GET STARTED
    • START A NEW CREATION
    • PHOTOCARDS> 5X7 FLAT CARD >START CREATING
    • Click on BACKGROUNDS in the left hand column
    • Click on ADD BACKGROUNDS
    • Click on DESIGN TEAM> the arrow next to AMY TEETS
    • To use the Wood Grain Paper click on the WINTER VACATION line; To use the corkboard paper click on the GRAFICA line; To use a Kraft paper click on the VINTAGE FLAIR line (this is the one I used in my example)
    • Drag and drop you paper onto your card; on the pop up choose PAPER
    • On the back side of the card add any little embellishments that you would like to use on your pillow box. Make sure to keep in mind the proportions of the embellishments

    • Click on SAVE and name your creation
    • Next to PREVIEW click on the WANT TO PRINT IT YOURSELF option; YES on the pop up and choose to print the first page; click on PRINT then OK
    • Check your email and print out your card onto white cardstock
    • Trace the pillow box template onto the front of your card and follow the scoring instructions

Hello and a coupon!

I've been hard at work writing some blog post and getting some pre-made themes or books ready at MiDesign@Michaels ™!  There's so much new stuff in the builder, mostly free right now, you should jump over and check it out!  There's free and pay accounts, and you can import photos from a variety of places including Facebook and Instagram.  I did a coupon to share with everyone since I've been super busy!  I have managed to put a couple things in my ACOT and STO stores though so check them out.  I'm also brainstorming the Everyday Scrapbooking freebie for March!  If you ever have any questions about usage, please don't hesitate to email me.  I know there are a lot of small bushiness out there just like myself ;)

February's Project Life Free Download

Ok scrappers!  This is what I did this month.  It was requested from ACherryOnTop that there was a need for cards for Christmas that went all the way to 31.  That way the entire month is covered and not just up until Christmas.  So I did cards ONE-THIRTYONE for this purpose!  I'm going to give you the download for the individual cards.  If you like rounded edges just use your corner rounder.  I think it's easier to provide JPG files to you.  If you like a different way also leave me a comment with your input.   If there is a need for the printable sheets just tell me in the comments and I'll get those uploaded as well ;)  There's also a plain card included also.  This is a zipped file that is 9.6 MB ;)  Please use the PIN button below the blog post if you download to share with your friends!
