A Freebie, Challenge, Sale and a PEEK!

Wow, what a week already! I'm the featured designer this week at Oscraps! So what does this mean for you? WELL, I have a challenge for you, I'll be choosing one girl/guy to be a guest on my creative team for the month of March! The challenge is to use the word "FILL" somewhere in your layout. There was a request at EBB Creations for some photo frames, I went to grab my links and realized they weren't up anymore! So I reloaded them a long with a couple other ones and I thought I would share them here as well! For those that do hybrid you can print these on transparencies and either sharpie color in or leave them as is for something different in your scrapbooks :D

Ok, My Class This Sunday

I'm teaching a class this Sunday at For Keeps Sake in St Louis. The class is 35.00 and we'll be doing this cute Christmas Mini "Dream" Album!!
Here's the info from their blog:

The class is going to be small and personal, so come down and relax, and scrap those Christmas pictures!

First, great selection, great prices, FREE overnight delivery and a 365 day return period! SO, i ordered some shoes...I didn't order the right size. Because it's free to also return them I have them ready to go and to drop off at UPS, so I could get a refund. So I called them back to see if I could exchange them for a different shoe, because they didn't have the size I needed in my original shoe. They are sending me the other shoe I want, they'll be here tomorrow and I have the other pair ready to ship back, free of charge of course! How GREAT is that!!!
So that's my shout out for the day, great Customer Service! I'll definitley order from them again!!

Never Ending!

Life's been crazy here the past week! But my papers are finally running for CHA! Yeah! I made a couple changes before they went to final print, so fun! Now that that's over maybe I can get some scrappy designing time in!
BUT I did manage to get a new kit into Oscraps and ACOT! It'll be coming to Blue Bazaar soon as well for all you in the land of Oz!

I just had my Digital Scrapping mag delivered! Did you see my cutie hubby on pages 35 and 71!

Two Layouts!

Two paper layouts in two days, what! And I have plans for a card today, but we'll see if that actually happens!

Keeping it Simple

I think I'm a pretty simple scrapper, especially when it comes to traditional layouts. So this is my first traditional layout of the new year! I did my first OWL challenge, which was to use the word STEP in a layout. I really need to push myself to get DH's Iraq photos scrapped, it's been since 2003 and I only have a handful done. So hopefully I can challenge myself this year to actually finish that album!

I'm SO excited St. Louis Scrappers!

I've been asked to start teaching at For Keeps Sake, a scrap store in St. Louis! Not only that I'm also going to be on their design team! My FIRST design team outside the digital venue!! My first class will be on Jan. 27th, we're going to be scrapping those Holiday photos that we all put off until next November, or maybe that's just me ;) You can see the mini album we'll be making below, plenty of pages to scrap lots of photos! For those wanting to learn

How to use your computer to scrap or even those card makers that want to save some cash and learn how to use the abundance of digital supplies that are out there, I've found the book for you! Whenever someone asks me "How do I start" I always tell them to get Photoshop Elements and to search out tutorials on learning how to use the basics in the program. Well, I've got a simplified answer now, buy the book Digital & Hybrid Scrapbooking and Card Making with Photoshop Elements. I can't imagine the time that was put in this book, but it starts off on how to load Photoshop onto your computer! It goes step-by-step on how to use the tools, and the best part, it's so easy to understand! LOL! I think this book would be great for any beginner that has photoshop. It talks about how to get started, organizing, cameras, EHDs, Wacom Tablets to the technical stuff of resolution and the tools included in PSE. There's even a chapter on how to shop and download digital stuff! The best part is, if you live in CA, they have classes you can attend!

Journaling Cards

I have to say I LOVE seeing hybrid cards, well, any cards made for that fact. Why? Because I really stink and making them, so I'm in AWE when I do see them! LOL! Renee made this adorable Christmas card by printing one of the 4x6 journaling cards out on handmade paper!

Solution for Today

I'm trucking along getting DSP back up and running, and through some searches I did today I found out that there is a way to recover date from a pc that has crashed and you can do this on your own! Good to know right! Here's the article if anyone wants to bookmark it ;)

Finally Settled!

It's so hard to get back into the swing of things after a move. We just got our internet Saturday, so I was able to put some things up in the stores ACOT and Oscraps that I had sitting on my hard drive. There's even new product up at Blue Bazaar just for you ladies/gents in the land of Oz :D
I've also been working hard to get my CHA stuff done for Dream Street, we're introducing some new things that I think you guys will really like! Super-Ts won't have a booth there but you can still pick up the stamps! I would LOVE to see what you guys do with them!
