I scrapped! WHAT! I got 5 layouts done for Scrappers for Angels, 2 Layouts for Audrey who is now exclusive to SIStv, and a did a 6x6 brag book for Michelle Underwood (which is on sale right now)! AND, phew, I just got a new kit done, it's colors are Red, Black, Teal and White! I'll be posting it here as soon as it goes live :D

Angels in Waiting- Scrappers Needed

This is a program that donates 8x8 and 12x12 pre-made scrapbook layouts to foster children and their families. If you have some extra scrap supplies that you're not sure what to do with, why not make a quick couple pages and send them over to them :D

"Recently, California's Department of Children's Services has tried to address this issue. One of the new guidelines for a foster parent is; to provide a foster child with a "Life Book". Foster parents can help a child maintain links to his / her family's past by creating life books together. A life book is a scrapbook that contains photos, Children's artwork and memorabilia that records the child's life while in a foster home.

Your pages will be packaged and delivered to the Department of Social/ Children Services the child's social worker will bring the pre-made scrap book pages to the foster home. (The pages will be gender and age specific).


We need help from you to donate scrap book pages with spots that pictures can be added, to start making positive memories for these children. Be as creative or simple as you want, we do ask that you use words of encouragement, words that are positive and ego building."

Airborne Anyone?

I always always take this stuff before I fly. Starting two days before I leave and two days before I head back. They're now being sued for making the claim that their product could cure the common cold. I really took it because 1. I didn't want to get sick 2. to help build up my immune system. I got really really sick when I was in Vegas for Memory Trends in 2006, and since then I've been taking this stuff before I travel. Knock on wood, I haven't gotten sick again when traveling. I was going to purchase the gummies for the boys, but I guess it won't help if I do? I will probably still take them before I travel, I think it's more mental than anything. I could easily just remember to take my vitamins everyday, especially since I'll be 30 this year, it's something I need to start doing anyways :(

Kid Rock Loves Me

Ok, Ok, he probably didn't remember my name 15 minutes after meeting him. But he was a pretty cool guy. Shy but very nice. His whole crew was super nice and accommodating the night of the concert. So how this worked. DH and 4 other Marines were asked to do the fallen soldier tribute before the show started. After that they let us hang out in the pit, backstage and also for a little bit with Kid. We didn't stay long, because really he seemed pretty exhausted. Now I know why he stays so skinny, dancing and singing for 3 hours for St. Louis, quite a work out! Rev. Run also performed and took it way back old school, so the concert ROCKED! Anyways here's some pics, unedited :D

There was a request at EBB Creations for some photo frames, I went to grab my links and realized they weren't up anymore! So I reloaded them a long with a couple other ones and I thought I would share them here as well! For those that do hybrid you can print these on transparencies and either sharpie color in or leave them as is for something different in your scrapbooks :D

Ok, My Class This Sunday

I'm teaching a class this Sunday at For Keeps Sake in St Louis. The class is 35.00 and we'll be doing this cute Christmas Mini "Dream" Album!!

First, great selection, great prices, FREE overnight delivery and a 365 day return period! SO, i ordered some shoes...I didn't order the right size. Because it's free to also return them I have them ready to go and to drop off at UPS, so I could get a refund. So I called them back to see if I could exchange them for a different shoe, because they didn't have the size I needed in my original shoe. They are sending me the other shoe I want, they'll be here tomorrow and I have the other pair ready to ship back, free of charge of course! How GREAT is that!!!
So that's my shout out for the day, great Customer Service! I'll definitley order from them again!!

Never Ending!

Life's been crazy here the past week! But my papers are finally running for CHA! Yeah! I made a couple changes before they went to final print, so fun! Now that that's over maybe I can get some scrappy designing time in!
BUT I did manage to get a new kit into Oscraps and ACOT! It'll be coming to Blue Bazaar soon as well for all you in the land of Oz!

I just had my Digital Scrapping mag delivered! Did you see my cutie hubby on pages 35 and 71!

Two paper layouts in two days, what! And I have plans for a card today, but we'll see if that actually happens!

Keeping it Simple

I think I'm a pretty simple scrapper, especially when it comes to traditional layouts. So this is my first traditional layout of the new year! I did my first OWL challenge, which was to use the word STEP in a layout. I really need to push myself to get DH's Iraq photos scrapped, it's been since 2003 and I only have a handful done. So hopefully I can challenge myself this year to actually finish that album!
