So...what's been going on?

Well not much here :D I went shopping and well, Ill have to put a photo up of one of the things I bought. Ok, even though I have a constipated laughing face maybe in the picture, I have to share! So, I dared my friend that I was shopping with to try one of these on. When I saw here in it it looked so freakin' cute on her I had to try one on too! So we both ended up buying one! Fun eh!

Then last night my little man got sick :( It's terrible seeing him like that :( He also likes to say the "F" and "S" word at the moment so we're working on that :D
Today I'm hoping to start on set FOUR of the Family Affair Collection and hopefully get some scrapping done!

Hump Day

Yep it's that day again, and what does it mean to me? Nothing. DH works 6 sometimes 7 days a week so it means nothing :D Christian decided this week to dump a bottle of syrup on my kitchen floor, jelly on my window counter along with a bottle of Peytans medicine which is powder form. What a week! Other than that I'm feeling MUCH better, computer is working, and DH wrote his first contract today with two more before Friday, keeping fingers crossed on that one ;) Well I hope everyone is having a great week, and before you know it the server change at 3Scrap will be done and over with! WOOHOO!!!

Now I know that you can bypass paypal and pay by CC but does anyone actually do this, or do they just use paypal? Just got me thinking about ACOT and how they don't accept paypal YET...is this a big issue or does it work out better? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Today's a BLAH day!

Please Help! Deadline January 31st, 2006!
Jen, a mommy acquaintance of mine lost her newborn baby to Potter's Syndrome this past weekend. In Potter's (or Potter) syndrome, the baby's kidneys do not develop in the first few weeks of life in the womb. The baby's kidneys are essential for the production of amniotic fluid in the womb. If there are no kidneys, there is little or no amniotic fluid to expand the womb around the baby and to allow the baby to grow and move. The womb remains small and in its confined space the baby's lungs cannot develop properly. Many babies with Potter's syndrome are stillborn. In those who are born alive, the immediate cause of death is failure to breathe (respiratory failure) due to underdeveloped lungs, usually in the day or two after delivery. Even if this problem is treated the baby cannot survive without kidneys. (Potter's syndrome is also known as Renal Agenesis, which simply means that the kidneys did not develop). Jen and her family turned down their option of terminating the pregnancy in the belief that God was in control of the situation and would allow the baby to live as long as he or she was meant to. Their precious little baby was by all ultrasounds thought to be a little girl who was to be named Faith. They relied on God to give them strength to go through the pregnancy, so that they could spend as much time as possible with their precious little one.

January 14th, 2006 a note from Jen:
"Faith Elizabeth was born at 5:40 am this morning (at 34 weeks) and was promptly renamed Brett Andrew. 13 ultrasounds and we were all wrong. The labor was short and the delivery was uneventful. We were able to share his life for 1 hour before he passed away. He was, of course, perfect. Thank you for all of your thoughts and well wishes. God bless my little boy."

Ya know....I started posting at A Cherry On Top when I first started digital scrapping, and now they're wanting to go digital! I've been talking with ACOT, they are pretty cool, about this venture for awhile now. After the phone call with Stephen, I've been thinking pretty hard about what I'm going to do. I know I want to stay at 3Scrap because I love it there, so I'm going to email those wonderful BIZ ladies with some help! LOL! It's great to see which designers were asked because they kinda kept things in the dark about it. Just said it was going to be exciting :D

Free Matchbook!

As promised! I didn't include elements, it seems most will print layouts and put them on the pages so I left them out this time. I also left out the burn, fold marks on the inner pages, since most don't fold or use them, so I'm testing to see how this works :D I've included instructions in the zip. PLEASE do NOT distribute this in a Yahoo group or any other group! That's called piracy and it's not nice :D I'm also trying a new host, since yousendit was being silly this morning and didn't want to load. Hopefully it's not too much of a hastle :D I used my Mint Cocoa scrapkit to make the matchbook, I hope you all enjoy :D Make sure to read the directions and contact me if you have any questions :D

You know what just sucks

To wake up and going through email you realize another designer has emailed you with info of your files being passed around a yahoo group. It's such a big downer that I work so hard on making these files, why? Why would I continue to do this if I know my files are going to be passed around like its nothing? Why do I continue designing? Sometimes I just don't have the answeres or maybe I just don't want to face the questions. Then I read on 2Peas that there is some psycho stalking her blog because she posted a pic of her little man helping paint in his spidermans! How sick is this world! Sometimes I wonder. Well I'm off to clean something so I can take some time away from this computer. Thanks for reading my rant if you have :D

A Layout of Me!

Sometimes it's good to see the "face" behind the keyboard, so here's a layout of Dh and I. This was taken at the Marine Corps Ball this year! I've had Trish's CD for awhile and I just LOVE how it's jam packed full of goodies. I've been wanting to use this kit for awhile and I finally have the perfect pictures! I did this 8x10 so I can print and frame it!
I also just finished a new kit called Live Wire, the colors are pretty bold for me but I had FUN making it!!
On a side note, I had a recent issue with malware! Somehow it got downloaded when I watched a tribute video, how crappy is that! It took me almost a WHOLE day to remove it. It had to do with Spy Sherriff, if anyone has this issue let me know and I'll try and help!

My Purchase of the Day

I just got my first notebook! I bought it from a guy that DH works with! So I paid 400 dollars for a Dell Inspiron 6000!! I'm in the process of putting things on it that I'll need when I travel so I can scrap anywhere!

Holidays!

Well, now that the holidays are over I have some time for some of my ramblings! LOL! I'm going to be having a matchbook kit crop for those that needs some quick gifts or those that like to craft! I used my Home for the Holidays Kit! You'll need to download the zip before hand and come to the crop on Dec. 5th at 10pm for the password. I didnt want to crash anything since it's a large download for a freebie!
I still need to get my RAK mini kit together for the Dec. mega kit which looks AWESOME by the way! I also have two more layouts to get done for the sponsors for December along with some more for Kelly Shults and Trish Jones! I may have to bug AJ since she's selling again too!

The owner, Leslie, keeps everything a secret until the monthly kits go out so I've been holding this in for WAY too long!! Anyways, I got the monthly kit today, THANKS LES, and I have to say the lady is a genious! It has such a great feel that I just want to site and stare at it and not use one thing! Been sick :(

We had my In-Laws visiting last week, they watched the boys while we went to the Marine Corps ball in St. Louis! Great time to say the least ;) I just got a new kit done also. Super Tired Today

Well it's good to ramble to someone even though I may be rambling to myself! I'm trying to get ready for inlaws, figure out a way to keep a diaper on my little man,what the heck am I going to do with my hair for the ball, and I really need to update the designers page on the digitalscrapbookpreviews site! AND I need to do a preview of my new kit called Home for the Holidays, a bit different than a normal Christmas Kit. I wanted something that could be used all year round, so I got a little carried away and made 15 papers! But should I make one more to make it even!? Decisions Decisions.

Well...........

We're all moved and unpacked! This move went pretty smoothly...well besides a couple of things breaking and the fact I had to go look for a "hand truck" or "dolly" because the dumb truck rental place didnt have ours! Oh well! I called our insurance company with our change of address and they told me about computer insurance! I'm insured from spills and dropping things with NO deductable! Check into it! I also have a new kit ready to go for a H-n-H crop which I love doing! I know how people, especially me love discounts, so maybe that's why? I'm also going to try and have a Halloween crop very soon with my "Spooky" Scrapkit!

Why is it???

That just because something is free some people think they can claim it or distribute it out to anyone/everyone? I recently ran across an ebay auction where someone had downloaded freebies and Lord only knows whatever else and was SELLING it, for the time they took to download and put it on a disk! Does that really seem right? Seriously! Even if it's a sketch or template! Most ask for personal use ONLY. That means for YOUR use! Not everyone elses? Some don't really mind as long as the original TOU or README is attached and I can go along with that one. But to take out the tou, rezip and give it out. That's just plain icky! Now, I love sketches and even have a sketch folder, but its hard to give credit sometimes because I just plain forget who made it...so it's really nice when the designers name is actually on the sketch. But I've even seen sketches posted with NO referrance to the original creator!! Ok..enough ramblings, I'm sure there are many spelling mistakes, but sometimes you just have to get it all out! LOL Anyone else agree? Give me a shout! or BLOG it :D

Trojan Woes

Gosh dang I really hate those little buggers!!! It's been a rough couple of days, I was on the verge of reformatting my hard drive!! What a wake up call! I couldnt get online but I could get on HELLO and Outlook...then Outlook stopped working! Luckily a friend of mine sent me AVG and after two scans ~dont delete those things they quarantine just FYI~ and I'm back up!! Thank goodness!!! Now only if I could find one of my Dover disks I'd be set!!

1.) I'm one of these types of people who could care less if I impress anyone. I rarely wear make-up or do anything with my hair. I'll take a shower everyday and put my hair-up...its not that I dont care about the way I look but why? Im my husband isn't impressed with me after being together for almost nine years then there's a problem.
2.) I'm pretty easy going and very approachable. It takes A LOT for me to get wound up then watch out. The german comes out in me and it's all over, I see crimson not red :D
3.) I'm a very trusting person. Which burned me pretty bad once. I guess I'm gullable? Or just too nice...someone let me know!
4.) I'm very hard headed. If I'm told I can't do something watch out!
5.) I do my own thing. Not so much the "in" thing but if I like it I do it!

ACT's are artist trading cards made at 2.5x3.5 to share with others..normally they are printed off and put either in those clear plastic sleeves or enevelopes, I have one if you need one :D Anyways here's mine! If anyone wants to swap let me know! I have mine hosted at rapidshare :D

Been so busy!

I have some new Paisley Stamps in the store! I also have one kit called Generation-X that Ill probably put up Monday. I also have one done that I'm just putting the finishing touches on! Phheewww :D But here's a look at the stamps they're 50 PERCENT OFF RIGHT NOW, unitl midnight tonight. Everything actually is 50 percent off righ now!

Threescrapateers is back up :D But we havent announced it to the public yet! I've added some awesome new stuff and even redid some old stuff and added things to them! So if there's something you have on your wish list take a look again and see if it's been changed! Make sure to check out the forums we have some fun things going on and some in store also. You'll have to re-register everywhere but it'll be worth it :D

Will be starting from scratch! There was a hardware malfunction in the actual server and we pretty much lost everything. Stacey is having the malfunctioning hardware mailed to her to see what she can recover so let's all keep our fingers crossed! Brush Crazy

So I've been on an adventure to explore brushes and I'm lovin' it! I think I may turn into a scan-a-holic trying to create new and unique things! This is a paper pack that will be available at DID hopefully tomorrow, it's called Earthly Sketches. I'll have an actual kit later at 3Scrap as soon as I find the time to get it uploaded! I think I may have those girls on overtime uploading new things so I'll give them a day to recoup! LOL Anyways here it is! TFL!

My Dt Call!!!

I've been soooo excited about the people who have applied for my DT call! Everyone has WONDERFULL work!!! I know I'm going to be picking more than two! I just can't let some of these scrappers go! I've been on vacation since the first of June and its about to come to a close as long as my husband can get off work to come get us! LOL! I have some exciting ventures starting that I can't wait to be apart of! One of them being is I'm now on the RAK team! So I'm very excited to get that underway. I have sooo much to catch up on when I get back, I may need another vacation ;)
