My little man is turning 8!

I can't believe how time flies!  If you've met Christian you'll know what a funny kid he is and if you don't think he is he'll tell ya he is!  Here's his story:
I went in for my 38 week appt at the Cherry Point Navel hospital, only to find out that being dilated to a four for two weeks wasn't what my OB wanted to see.  She decided to help along that process.  I called Jason to let him know as we were on the waiting list for a 3 bedroom house on base.  Low and behold housing "found" one that day for us to move into!  Now, if you've ever delt with housing, you take what they give you or you go back down on the list.  Also, when you accept a house, you have five days to get out of your other house, get it cleaned an inspected.  Perfect.  The only problem was we couldn't find a UHaul and the one we did find was the smallest they make.  So after many trips back and forth to the new house, we settled down about 1230am.  I knew the minute I sat down to relax contractions were going to start, and they did.  We got to the hospital around 1am and even though I was still at a four and they wanted to send me home, I wasn't going anywhere.  I know once my water broke I would go straight to a ten.  When I had Peytan I was in labor for 3 hours, I knew this one would go the same way.  I walked around for 20 minutes while Jason was on the phone trying to get in touch with who we had to watch Peytan.  I sat down to start my registration and couldn't take it anymore.  They got me into a room and I was at a 6.  While waiting for an epidural I progressed very quickly.  The next check I was at an 8 and opted for a spinal block.  They broke my water and I went straight to a ten.  The nurse went and got Jason and Peytan (I was in the room by myself since kids weren't allowed in the deliver rooms and Jason was unable to get ahold of anyone) ten minutes of pushing and we had Christian!  Born at 3:54 am 7.2 lbs and 20'' long!
When he was born they noticed red spots on him.  I asked if it was something Jason was exposed to in Iraq because I got pregnant shortly after he got back (don't we all!)  They of course said no and started him on a 6 hour IV, spinal tap, urine and blood work.  Everything came back negative.  They kept him on a 6 hour IV just in case something came back positive.  They took blood from me even to rule everything out.  A dermatologist was brought in as well and he couldn't figure anything out.  As all this was going on Jason and Peytan would come up once a day because we were still in the middle of moving.  Thankfully we had some great friends to help us out!  They went ahead and discharged us because they couldn't find anything wrong with Christian.  Two hours after I discharged we picked up my mother-in-law at the airport.  She flew in to help us out with the move and to get everything settled.
The final verdict for Christian.  It's a word that starts with an "E" but we won't say due to it being a disqualifer for him to get into the Marines ;)
